Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865)

Continue Game after Enemy Morale collapses
Is there a way to continue play after you break the morale of the enemy? I just captured Richmond in Nov of 1862 and was wondering if there was a way i could keep playing that save

I went into campprefs and changed moral values.. I play as the south often. When I smash the yankees..they gain moral instead of lose it..thus the game continues until I want to end it

Can you elaborate on that Max?
What numbers did you change them to?
I was just trying to figure out the same dilemma. This would work nicely.

Sorry hunter for the way overdue reply. My work around went bust at some point. I have end games even when the north is showing flawless support and moral. " North sues for peace "

Reviving this. Can game endings be disabled?

I was just looking for this and found an option that seems to work. This directly edits one file, you could also do this via the modding tool spreadsheet, but we need only one change...

Go to your main GTCW folder in Steam and look for the folder "Config" then find the file "campaignobjectives" (a .dat).
Make a backup, of course.
Open it in Notepad and look for either of the following (or both):

Break Confederate Morale
Win campaign
Break Confederate national morale, below 25 will to force them to sue for peace and you win the campaign.
000;001;002;003;

OR

Break Union Morale
Win campaign
Break Union national morale, below 25 will force them to sue for peace and you win the campaign.
000;001;002;003;

Those numbers from 000 to 003 are the Chapters said objectives count for. In this case if you edit them to just read 000;

Then:

Break Union Morale
Win campaign
Break Union national morale, below 25 will force them to sue for peace and you win the campaign.
000;

This objective will not be around and thus as I've seen, you can just keep playing. This seems to also work on any save you have even if it had previously gotten to the end cutscene.
