The log is very very valuable! If you cannot send it, can you maybe please search for "exception" and send only this part, maybe in the lower part of the log. Thanks!
Can you remember if there was a certain thing you were doing with the UI at this point?
Try to "replay" the disappearing UI elements and send us the log after this has happened.
To be able to produce the enhanced log, please download this .exe file:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cAbNZ8EGWnrCZnTKSSriwq4MUmS21LWk/view?usp=sharing
and place it into the main game folder (overwrite the old one in steamapps/common/Grand Tactician The Civil War (1861-1865).
You should then see the sign "development build bottom right", don't bother if the console with a few red error messages pops up, just close it.
Please start only historical battles as the campaign should not start up in the dev version. When you experience the mentioned issue, please send us the log, located in steamapps/common/Grand Tactician The Civil War (1861-1865)/The Civil War (1861-1865)_Data/output_log.txt
to: info@grandtactician.com
Afterwards you can delete the .exe file and do a file integrity check in steam, it should be restored to the old state.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Despite the bugs I am enjoying this immensely. Thank you for being so responsive.
Thanks for the info! Please try the file in the first post. Then, if this happens again, please send the log. The exe in question has the dev logging functionality, which would give us a lot more info to work on.
i also played several hours campain in 1863,but i didnt meet this problem,on the contrary, the too low fps is the problem,it hurts my eyes and merely unplayable.
save found at:
campaingns\001\X*\save
*letter: A = 1861, C = 1862, D = 1863
output log is in the data folder, called "output_log.txt"
--> this file is always emptied when you start a new game, so after the issue, grab the file and please send to us.
