Career: Companion actions don't work
Companion-based actions that add prestige (in particular: Purge and Equality), don't do ANYTHING. They cost the 250 money each but don't deliver any prestige.

Actions take time to give you their bonus. Many take 30 days. Also only one action can be active and only 3 per category. All can be used multiple times. Hope this helps.

I know this. I wait for completion of the actions before checking if the bonus is applied because I am not an idiot. I have run both actions I mentioned several times in succession and over several in-game months; no bonus is applied EVER.

We also need a way to get rid of some of them. If that partisan is following me and giving me a bad name I'll have him up on charges or hung. Which by the way he always does. As soon as he shows up I get the message right after he is committing war crimes.

LOL! I spent $250 to have my wifey companion go bake cookies. I did receive half the profits. I and others notice the cards don't apply bonuses. As we tried to play the action card to have the grudges reduced. So your calculations come from the mouse-over of prestige top player avatar? I didn't investigate to deep here as I'm more concerned with AI and actually finishing the campaign before I start again in career mode. Summer 1861 campaign. I never assume stupidity of anyone. Ignorance of information only if it applies sir as no one can read minds. :)

Yes and I also did not participate in battles for a long in-game time, so it was easy to see I was not getting any prestige from actions since those would be the only source of prestige in that situation.

A YouTuber doing a let's play got the wife companion who proceeded to poison his character three times. There was NOTHING he could do.
