Replenishment of Artillery
On attempting to replenish a brigade of artillery that had suffered casualties, I found that the number of men will increase in the target brigade, but the number of guns will stay the same. Is this intentional or a bug? Is there another way to reinforce brigades aside from the drag and drop method?

I've experienced the same when combining Artillery Battalions that run the same guns. However, they eventually received their cannons, either after reloading the save, or automatically, overtime. I want to say it was overtime.

I think it happens when you close the management panel and open it again. There are some calculations that are done after closing the panel (like promotions). Does this help?

I'll check, I was intending to run a new campaign once today's patch came out.

I know this article has not been used in awhile, but i figured I'd use it instead of making another about the same bug.

The Artillery requires saving and reloading the game in order to show an increase in guns. It would be great if there was a sensor that updated the number of guns quicker.

I have it sat so that every 25 men equals 1 gun. With 100 men max to give me a battery size artillery game. If you'd like those setting just ask.

So this bug is once again active.

I believe it has to do with refresh of the guns. After furlough and upgrade to Battalions they don't increase the number of guns in the stats until you reload the game.

I'm using vanilla with W&L DLC. There are some unitprefs modded values, but this was there before I modded them, and my mods only effect what is seen in the battles, not what is shown in the stats.
Will try a blind fix here for 1.1225!

I have a career mode save right after I started my furlough, if you'd like me to send it.

The US army I'm apart of just lost a battle and fled to D.C. and the CS armies did not attack. The bug should replay if you speed up time to the point of the furlough's end. (Hopefully)

p.s. my unit is an artillery unit going from 41 men to 180 men (at least that's what I got from furlough). I went 3 guns to 12 guns after reloading post-furlough.
