It does work you just have to fiddle with settings. Let me know if you want to know what I did for mine.

Scourge of War is good but only tactical. I am talking about strategic and tactical the whole package. As far as I know only FOF and GTTCW have done that.
If you outnumber the AI it you can usually prevail but my 60,000 CSA vs 100,000 USA is having a devil of a day in my current battle!
