Liberating prisoners
I recently, as CSA, took a Federal prison camp with about 3000 prisoners in it.

After I took it, the prisoner volume reset to 0, but I didn't see any lift in my available manpower.

Has anyone else experienced something different?

That is my recent experience too.

Well, if i'm not mistaken, many POW's didn't return to the war did they? I think they could be sentenced to death if they were captured a second time.

There's photographic evidence of liberated POW's from CSA's Andersonville Prison. Union prisons weren't much better. In either case, those folks aren't going back into combat anytime soon.

That's a great point.

You're likely to get a better response to this from the developers if it was actually in the bug report forums and not placed here in the general discussion forums.

I think the way the game works the prisoners are just shuffled to the nearest other prison even if the prison is already over capacity
