Does the AI have infinite Readiness?
Multiple attacks on Manasss... AI armies moving around relentelessly to attack without pause... AI troops seem to have no problem while the player's armies must wait until their Readiness become at least yellow to perform something, anything.

Will something come in 1.1 to make this less like WW1, with dozens of battle of Manassas?

And AI armies that retreat advance into player territory and then take player cities. AI Armies in player territory don't loose readiness even when supply routes are blocked.

I agree Win a battle and my army is tired, broken and unready Meanwhile the enemy is flying around doing battles Why does it take so long for an army to recover. One other thing why can't they make it easier to move an army which has several corps attached. Using the link command is such a pain

Two issues here the Corps issue is easy to overcome by keeping the Corps in command range of the Army, If the player can not manage his/her units maybe a different game would be a better choice. As far as the readiness issue yes that feature of the game is broken so I just don't play with it one can turn it off at the start of a campaign.

Not only that. But A.I. doesn't appear to be affected by weather when moving during the middle of winter either.

Not sure what 12 years older would have to do with my management of Corps in a American Civil War Army Simulation, Maybe I would have a hard time if I was a Navel Officer, I was part of the Department of the Navy for a while, The Men's Department but got smart and joined the Army, any good Marine Corps NCO can make a Great Army Officer :-)

I just won a confederate campaign in Oct '62. AI made lots of small armies and kept assaulting the Manassas area. Sometimes they went down the potamic to do an end run to Richmond, but I always stopped them. But just like WW1, it seems the AI relentless attacks on Manassas was just throwing in piecemeal forces that got walloped over and over again. The AI doesn't seem to want to wait.

I also never lost battle here either - it was pretty easy to block at the crossing points. All in all...the campaign on hard setting was too easy to beat. Granted, someone suggested that I start in '63.
