just burn down the whole country before sherman does it anyway and flee to brazil XD. For real though, I found at least that in my 1861 campaign, Southern Industrialization and Apostles of Disunion pair really nice. I took those two and Kansas as a Slave State, but it probably would work better with Slavery to the West or Filibustering (I'd probably go with Filibustering).

ya i went with filibustering, slavery to the west, and native allies.

i was trying to see if any of them help out with manpower and recruitment early on??

Southern Industrialization straight up gives you a ton more manpower as a result of immigration. Filibustering does the same thing but for Cuba and Nicaragua and Apostles of Disunion gives you a ton more state support in slave states which would give you more volunteers.

Also, by the way, I just noticed your name! You're the person who uploads livestreams to youtube right? I have been looking for a new playthrough to watch and noticed yours. You should make shorter episodes and maybe put in commentary. I would definitely watch it.

I am starting the campaign with CSA in 1862, my first campaign since the release of the game version (i played only the early access).

I usually go historic so it restricts what you get obviously, however there is a call to make.

So starting historic in 1862, CSA has a clear lack of weapons and recruits.

So first call for me to make is between Industrialisation II and Diplomacy II. I just wonder which one is the best to increase availability of weapons.

Then i will for sure go for the Conscription Act I but for me better get better weapons to existing troops rather than raising additional forces.

I think that is the best start for CSA

a-Old dominion because no, i cannot play a game with CSA capital not being in VA.

b-Arms agent because the benefits seem just too good to pass. (number of
weapons available to the Confederacy is increased by 50% and Springfield weapon
types become available for production in the South's industry. Union morale -5
)

c-Industrialisation or King cotton but i slightly believe Industrialisation gives better benefits if you dont plan to invest in diplomatic policies, King cotton being definitely more historic...
