Dream Daddy crashing at startup on Mac

My friend is having issues starting up Dream Daddy on her Mac, she has tried deleting and reinstalling the game as well as resetting her laptop. Her OS X is version 10.7.5 and her processor is 2 GHz, she has been able to download the game though anytime she starts it up it freezes at the startup screen and crashes, the audio still goes through as its frozen though. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? ;;u;;

I don't know if anyone is still looking for an answer to this over a year after this thread was abandoned, but I found that setting the resolution to the lowest setting (in fullscreen) prevented the game from crashing on startup for my MacBook Pro.
