what game are you playing instead while you wait?

OK so I was way too excited and now don't know what to play instead and maybe you too? Anyone got suggestions for games that are in similar genres, have a similar tone or that may be of interest if one was HYPED for DD?

I was clicking around playing the sample of TUSKS (a gay orc dating sim) for an hour or so but it's still being developed too so that didn't really distract very well for too long. Got any suggestions?

I have some games that I have to finish (I sometimes left them in the middle), for now I'm finishing Metro Last Light and Darksiders 2, I have played Coming out on Top pirated a year ago but now watching Dream Daddy release and now that I have a job and could permit me buy a game I bought Coming out on Top and this days I have been playing it unlocking all the gallery again. After Metro Last Light and Darksiders 2 I plan to play Alan Wake and The vanishing of Ethan Carter. (I have to finish 'The last Remnant' too but I'm too lazy for that one this season xD)

EDIT: Already played almost every Bioware game so Dragon Age and Mass Effect games are so much played and replayed xD

But if you want Visual novels I recommend: Coming out on Top, No, Thank you! and DRAMAtical Murder, the best Gay visual novels I have played

Have you played Hustle Cat? It's not about dads, but it is a very well written dating sim where you can choose the gender of the main character and romance whatever gender you want. Also, if you go through and do all the routes, you unlock a secret route where you can romance a Goth Dad (but instead of kids he has a cat).

I don't know about dad's but Amnesia is good, Hustle cat, VA-11 Hall-A, Dandelion, could always get the traditional and funniest of dating Sims and go with Hatoful Boyfriend.

If you just want a visual novel Brillian Shadows and Fate Milestone was really good

B astard Bonds. It isn't a dating sim, but it's a very bara game filled with homoerotic situations, recruitable monsters and hundreds of instances of low-res full frontal male nudity. And sometimes boobs if you're into that.

Stardew Valley and Sims 4 + all the expansion packs are all I've been playing lately.

If you want a game like DDADDS theres Nameless and Amnesia. Those are pretty good but story heavy since they are vitural novels.
