Number of Saved Games

Does anyone know how many saved games we're allowed to have? Is it just the one? If I click the New Game option will it erase my previous progress entirely?

The autosaves automatically delete themselves when they get too numerous, but I think you can have an unlimited number of manual saves.

What I mean is, would I be able to have 2 different storylines saved at the same time? So for example if I let my younger brother try the game out, and he played by starting a new game from the beginning, would all the progress I made on mine be erased?

No, so long as you have hard saves (not auto saves) of your playthrough, previous saves will not be erased. :) I have two different dads myself lol.

Is a hard save when I purposely go to the box at the top left and save it myself?

Yup!

Yes. You will also notice the autosave slots will have a grey tag along the righthand side that says "Autosave" so you can tell the difference, thankfully lol. So if the save is not tagged Autosave, I do believe the only way to get rid of it is to delete it manually. I have a bunch of saves and so far the only ones being auto-erased are the autosaves. Hope I'm helpful! I'm tired af right now lol.

Thanks everyone for replying! My brother and I bought the game together you see and he was really disappointed when we thought we couldn't make a second game for him. He's playing now and really happy, and you're all wonderful for helping a girl out. <3
