Wish Dating Multiple Dads Had More Effects

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems only Robert/Joseph has some intertwined stories based on what path you went. But the other dads may as well be rushed through in playthroughs cause it really doesn't seem like they weigh any input on the ending unless they are you're final pick.

It would of been cool if there were a few more dates with each dad so some lasting storyline changes could be made in the play through. Like what?

I was disappointed that Ernest was barely tacked onto the Hugo date line. He shows a little softer side at the end of it, so I was disappointed there was nothing I could to help him like I helped his dad. But then I did Damien and the dog stuff happens and we see some improvement for Ernest and Hugo. What if the dog storyline wasn't "the end" of the line and we could then go date Hugo that is now having a better relationship with his son. And... maybe... we take Amanda and Ernest to the wrestling match. Then there Amanda finds out Ernest gets bullied by Colin cause how nerdy his dad is (being the teacher's kid isn't easy), she tells you at one point in the evening to add some more depth to Ernest. Bam, after the game Hugo calls that brat Colin out when he shows up to bully Hugo, resulting in Ernest gaining more respect for his dad. Their father/son relationship improves and Ernest even grows respect for you cause brought the Duchess into his life as well as showing him that his dad can be tough and will stick up for his son. I think that could of been a nice ending for that family.

I know that's pie in the sky, but it'd been cool if multiple endings could of been achieved if you simply spent some time with alternate dads before picking one.

i totally hear you. I went on two dates with robert and mat before finally going on a third with craig, and i was kinda disappointed that robert still acted the same with your dadsona as if you didn't go on any dates, even if he opened up to you on the 2nd one. :/

Yep... it's a real shame they don't have more effects on eachother to make mixing and matching fun and come up with some cool endings. Would of loved to improved the relationship with Ernest and Hugo. But nope, very straight forward.

In a way I'm glad they didn't weave all of that together... it would be great if they did. I think if these (or other) developers were actually trying to sell a more serious message they'd really do well by making it a traditional dating sim. But well, not ddadds. It's good for what it is anyway, though!
