Robert's first date??? (obvious potential spoilers)

Hey y'all, I'm not sure how to get Roberts first date. I turned him down at the bar (I also didn't give that harpy Mary a drink if that makes a difference... should I have?), and a post here said after that try going on a date with another dad, so I did that, and I still can't get his first date. What did I do wrong? DADDY LET ME LOVE YOU

I got what I presume to be his bad ending on my first playthru and it was such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bummer I just laid on the floor, sad.

I have no idea. My first play through I didn't bother dating Robert, my second one however I did. I avoided the bar and crazy Mary (mostly to see if this effects Joe at all) and 'saw' Robert at the cafe and met him at the BBQ. After waiting all day (the Robert first date cut scene) He messages back at night. He did that for both of my dates so far. I did go on a date with Hugo first, so maybe it does have to do with dating someone else first.
Sorry I'm not much help. It looks like you don't have to go to the bar the first night and can still date Robert.

Dating him through Dadbook is fine without meeting him at the bar. I managed a good ending with it (:

Just wanted to get back and say that this worked, I was able to go on a first date with him. Thankyou nvm :D

Even if you do go to the bar, essentially, don't sleep with him. Tell him you love shots, you like his face, but turn him down for the fling. He'll respect you and end up asking you to hand with him and Mary

Mary's actually pretty chill. You should be nice to her, she helps you out.

What you got to do is hang with him at the bar do shots with him and tell him he is good looking but when he asks you to go sleep with him you say no and then on dadbook you text him, he'll answer in the evening when you are with amanda =3 (don't talk to him on the bbq XD he get's awkward)
