Here's something you can do, I dunno if you've thought of it before. You can mark this game as "Not interested", forget that it exists, and move on with your life. I know, it'll be real hard to live your life without being offended by something, but there's lots of other more significant things to get angry at than a mediocre visual novel on Steam.

I think a big part of it is that its a Game Grumps game. This would just be a nice little VN otherwise that most people outisde of those interested, wouldn't care about, but the Game Grumps attachment is what generates big buzz for an otherwise niche title, which also makes trolls latch on to it like its candy.
