How come sleeping with Robert makes you a "Bad Dad"??

Before I go into this, I just wanted to say that I REALLY loved the game!!!!!!!! It's incredibly well developed and all the little details were super fun, the mini-games were delightful!!! Certainly a game the LGBT community will remember for a very long time, I'm also glad the cishets and the fujoshis haven't ruined it for me yet!!!!!!

However! I do have a question!! I noticed that if you sleep with Robert after you drink with him and watch The Game and all that, you apparentely get a "bad dad" achievement!!

I didn't sleep with Robert because honestly I just met him, but now I'm curious if doing so will be consequential in your relationship with your daughter or something??? Does it just heck up your life and you become a bad dad forever??? I don't wanna be a bad dad!!! I know there's an "okayest" dad achievement when you don't do your job well with Amanda but now I'm curious about what "bad" means here!!!!

I'd try it out myself but I am far too scared to be bad!!! I don't want to be bad ever!!! So yeah since we have this discussion thingy, thought I'd just ask y'all!!! I'm sure some of you must not be sensitive freaks like me so share your bad dad experiences please!!!

I slept with him and it locked me out of his good ending (Although I kept pursuing his romance because I didn't know any better), but it has no effect on whether or not you get Amanda's good or bad ending.

i did it and i think it might mess up your chances with robert, because afterwards your relationship with him becomes purely sexual. i think this is how you get the bad ending with him but im struggling to even get him to go on the first date with me :(

but no, sleeping with robert the first night doesnt affect anything else except your relationship with him

It doesn't really change anything else, you just won't get Robert's good ending.

I think it's literally because Robert's tagline is "Bad Dad"

As far as I know you can't. You sleep with him when you first meet him at the bar before getting Dadbook, but this actually makes it so you can't do his route.

you have to sleep with him before dating him but then you cant do his route

I fell into this rabbit hole, and oh boy was it interesting but quick. But no, you won't be a bad dad. I literally got the "world's greatest dad" achievement, and all I did was have sex with Robert three times and make my daughter a cake.

But yeah like everyone else said (and I now realized), hooking up with him the very first day basically makes locks his route. At least I got the greatest dad achievement really fast??

It's just called Bad Dad since that's what Robert is called. Also it messes up the entire route with robert. Doesn't do anything else tho

Yeah, like slut shame much? If you sleep with Robert on the first night that means he immediately just sees you as an object. God knows sex isn't more compicated than that. I like the game, and anything involving Amanda is so touching, but this route kind of felt like moral lecturing.

I'm guessing it has to do with how you sleep with him without even knowing him. Like, you just see a hot guy at a bar and only see him as something bang-able. Knowing Robert's character profile, it makes sense that he would just use you to further his vices and belief that he's a bad worthless person (TM), but I agree it's a little lecture-y.

Eehhh that's not really a satisfying answer. I can't date the dad I want at all, which is kind of sad.
