Game music not working?

My laptop audo is completely fine and other games are working perfectly, but I dont have any sound at all from this one? Music is ticked on the options and I dont have stream friendly mode on, im not sure why im not getting anything

I'm having the same problem. I tried everything to try and fix the sound, and I know for sure that the start up menu has music playing, but I can't hear any of it. Is there anyway this can be fixed?

Exactly my problem, I can play youtube and other steam games fine :(

I've tried to fix the problem by googling ways and just haven't had any luck. I've been so excited about this game, and it just doesn't feel right playing without the sound. It feels off. I hope we can get the help we need soon.

Playing on my desktop, Windows 10, same problem. I've tried a few fixes but there just isn't any sound from the game (even when steam's sound is working!).

I found a way to fix it; I had to disable literally all of my other speaker options (which I've never had to do before, but eh) and restart steam. Not sure how that fixed it, but I'm so glad that it did! The intro song is amazing.

I got around it by downloading it on my Mac (i was originally playing it on my Msi laptop) and the sound works completely fine
