Why bother posting this hours before the game is releashed??
I don't think I've ever seen an open or healthy forum that had a rule like this.
Constructive criticism of the dev group as a whole is ok, i would think.
Okay, but what if, like, one of the devs has a Crappy Personal Opinion and then there's a character who won't shut up about Crappy Personal Opinion? Would that count as criticizing the dev for shoving their views into the game, or criticizing the game for having a badly written character? Where's the line? My problem with this kind of rule is that it's almost always used to shut down legit criticism or a discussion about the devs that actually related back to the game.

so that people know what the basic rules are. we can already talk here so there might as well be guidelines. the game doesn't need to be released yet for that.
im sorry for yelling but I am very sleepy and sad
