Moving Base?

Can we move the base (Structure we can build) to the different sectors or should we just build it in a central location and move around the map with the raft?

On the store page, it looks like the dev's intention is for us to set up outposts, and travel around in the raft from outpost to outpost while we figure out the mystery of the bermuda triangle. Sounds like fun!

no, stand in your raft and face the rudder stick press use and you can drive it around using wasd.

The orange raft never moves again, you will build a new raft with a sail. But the first thing you build is a floating platform, and it does not move. If you have the raft with the sail, then face the rudder stick and press use.

Speaking of the raft, am I the only one who find the sail on the raft obstructing the view when sailing?

I also think the sail covers my view. I wish it was repositioned, or had a window torn in it so I can see through.

I Agree frillen the sail is anoying,give us the option to get rid of it would be good.

you know, a simple fix for the raft sail might be to have our character "sit down" when they enter the raft. That would lower the point of view to below the sail. As long as you could see over the bow, it would work. It would also be a more natural way to sail a boat.

I have found that the raft goes backward as fast as forward and I can see more. Who is going to see you piloting it backwards?

Yes I know this, but you cannot look freely to the sides like you can when sailing forward, but yes you do have a better view when sailing backwards :)

Once you're sailing you can move forward on the raft and walk through the sail, that gives you a good view of where you're going. Just move slowly so you don't fall overboard.
