Playing TinyTown VR on Quest 2???
Hi, Has anybody experienced any issues attempting to play TinyTown VR on QQuest @? I was told that the only way to play this game on Quest 2 is by using the Steam version of this game using Steam VR since the game was only relseased on Rift S. Is that tru?

Hi, thanks for responding ! Yes, I’ve already setup Oculus link, I even tried Oculus Air, and I can successfully launch the game. Everything works but I cannot get passed the TinyTown VR launch screen. I can see my virtual hands but when doing the hand gesture to bring up the in game menu, nothing comes up and therefore cannot progress on the game.

Hey guys. I've had the same issues and I finally figured out how to play Tiny Town on Oculus Quest 2. To stream any Oculus Rift games from the PC to Quest 2, you need to have the following apps downloaded:

On Headset:
Virtual Desktop;

On PC:
Steam
Steam VR
Virtual Desktop Streamer
Oculus Rift Software.

Also, you need to disable ALL FIREWALL SETTINGS and Anti-virus software on your PC. Or else you will run into the problem of being stuck at the loading screen.

Further, once PC and headset are connected through virtual desktop, you must launch games through the headset, NOT the PC.

Hope this helps!

Happy gaming! :-)

Reset both the Quest 2 and the Desktop and then proceed to play it through the Oculus. (You cannot play it without the Steam Link Cable)

Hi! In the event that you haven’t been able to figure out how to make TT VR to work, what I did that solved the same problems your are having is the following:

1.uninstall the game.
2. Perform a search for any folders that maybe have been left installed (game related) and delete them.
3. Check your “Documents “ folder and if there is any folder related to the game, delete those as well.
4. Re-install the game and it should work.

That’s how I was finally able to get the game to play on Quest 2.
