@Lumbernauts A Non-VR Version of Tiny Town.
I think that we all want a Version of the game (like Rolling Line) where a VR
head set is not needed. Most of us are not rich or Youtubers so i think we need this...

@Lumbernauts Please, if your able to, take this into consideration...

Anyone agree? Leave your thoughts...

*Edit: @Lumbernauts

Okay ive found this:

Just saying that you could use W A S and D keys to move and include a Noclip type of option.
You guys could then use the Mouse to move the Props / Character Menus and / or any other Menus that can be toggled with the press of a key. You could Crouch with the CTRL key and use some sort of a Noclip to move around your map. You could rotate your Props / Characters using the R Key and i guess anything else can be mapped to certain keys.

I know Tiny Town is a mainly VR based game but think of what a Non-VR Version of the game would do:

1. Better Sales,
2. Spread the Game around earning more sales (like i have mentioned before, Rolling Line has been able to do this and i believe the Game did much better in general.

Its up to you guys, but i recomend trying...

Thanks for reading...

It might be difficult to convert it to Desktop, and the charm of it is that it's in VR. It's not the same on desktop. Maybe a desktop world viewer? But he would have change everything about the game's core to fit with a desktop version. This includes menu's, controls, Physics and a whole lot of other stuff,

If you really want to play it set up one of those mobile headsets on PC. it's actually not that hard. Or just save up for a headset, I don't regret getting my Vive one bit. I've gotten 100+ hours of use.

Looking at this aswell, what about the people that cant afford a £500 VR Headset? Its up to @Lumbernauts if they will make a Non-VR version. Its not just about making sales though, catering to the community and showing that you care is one of the most important things about game development (Not saying that @Lumbernauts dont, the Zombie and Millitary Packs show that they do). If they're able to then we will have to wait and see...

"The game is made for VR from the ground up. I imagine it wouldn't be nearly as fun to do this game on a screen". But if its playable, would it matter? Look at Rolling Line. After a recent update, VR is optional so you never know. Like i said, if @Lumbernauts are able to, then its up to them...

It's one game. The game is really fun in VR but that's because it works there. It would be incredibly boring on a screen, and the controls would feel clunky (even after optimization, the VR controllers are needed for the game, it would be so unplayable with a kb&m or controller)

How would you know that it would be boring with KB&M and would be clunky? Again, its up to @Lumbernauts. Sometimes, you have to test things. Trial and Error ya'know...

Like i mentioned earlier, using a key and the mouse to rotate objects in my opinion isnt that bad of an idea. Not everyone can afford a £500-£600 VR Headset so it would maby be a chance for people to experience the game in that way (Again, look at Rolling Line, another game made for VR that has intergrated KB&M). Its up to @Lumbernauts if they can or not...

"not all of us are rich youtubers" no, but i have a job...granted not everyone makes enough money but not everyone who has a headset is a "rich youtuber" either.

i do agree though, if possible and more importantly *practical* then yes a 'pancake mode' of sorts would be great for the game.

@Jason I was kinda using the YouTubers as an example but i think it would help the popularity of the game.
