Unreliable difficulty ratings
Am I alone in thinking that the 1-3 arrow rating for difficulty of determining an identity was sometimes inaccurate? there were many times I ended up brute forcing identities with one arrow, but more astonishing was when the game told me it would be counter productive to guess the identity of the man who is the ship's cook. I assume his face becomes unblurred during the scene where they are bringing the merman onto the ship and he says something about cooking it for dinner, but the guy is constantly standing by the butcher and even carries around a two pronged meat fork. I guessed his identity as early as the first scene he appears (slaughtering the bull) and I thought I must be getting ahead of myself if the game is warning me to not even guess, but guess I did and I never had to correct it. Seems like an oversight that it functions this way, wondering if anyone else went ahead identifying people while the game told you not to bother.

we are free men, we don't have to listen to what the game tells us! there are a few identities that can be pretty conclusively figured out before their face is unblurred in the book

I'll be honest I didn't find those arrows helpful and was solving some one arrows at the end. I think they may be counterproductive as people will chip away from all angles differently.
