I'm curious; I've never met someone who uses the insert block for movement. Do you use your left hand? What keys do you use for jumping, crouching, or leaning?
Insert is strafe left, Pg Up is strafe right, Home is walk forward, End is walk backwards. Delete is jump, Pg Down is crouch. In games where Leaning is a thing, I use Backspace and NumLock for that, otherwise these usually go to menus or other functions. Enter is usually reload or ready/sheathe weapons, depending on the game.
I got used to this setup way back when CounterStrike 1.1 or so was still new (yes, I am old). Back then you didn't need so many hotkeys, and I liked the space around my fingers which helped avoid accidental key presses. When games with more controls became a thing, this was already deeply ingrained into my habits, so I started using mice with many buttons to avoid having to switch.
