Moving save file from mac to pc
Hey everyone,

Does anyone know if it's possible to move a save file between 2 different computers? I was playing this game on my laptop while I was away, and want to continue on my desktop!

Thanks,
H

Yeah, the saves should work fine between PC/Mac.

Just Found them Nomius, they're in Users->[username]->library->application support->co.3909.ObraDinn ->obraDinnSave-p1.txt

You Might need to enable hidden files to see this, which can be done by pressing "Cmd + shift + . " while in finder.

..and in windows it's in c:/users/[username]/AppData/LocalLow/3909/ObraDinn

Once again, you might need to enable "view hidden files and folders", which you can do by (in windows 10) clicking the "view" tab at the top of any file explorer tab, then choose options, go to the view tab and click "show hidden files, folders and drives" in the drop down list. Why do OS makers have to make it so hard?!

Well, at least for save games Windows actually has a dedicated "Saved Games" folder that is not hidden. Just that barely anyone (of the game developers) is using it.

Two words: "Steam Cloud". It's unfortunate that it wasn't implemented into this game.

Is this still supposed to be true? I have the saved files from my old computer. I played the new download on my new computer long enough to create a save file. Went into the folder with the saved file. Killed it and copied over the save files from the other computer
.
This did not work. I have zero fates solved. WTF. Should I redownload the game?

Did try a restart.

Or just give up and finish the game on my old computer?
