Identifying crew
Hey, does the dact that the crews face is no longer blurred mean i can solve who is wit the memories i have been given?

Technically yes, but also consider the tiny triangles above the portraits. One triangle means the identity should be easy to deduce (the name or profession has been clearly shown), while three triangles means it will be hard to deduce (you may only be able to narrow it down to one a several people at this point).

Thanks for the help!

Theoretically, yes, but in practice I found that I needed more information about what was going on in order to lock some of those names in. It's easier to think of the blurring as being confirmation that you don't have enough information and to not bother, than the unblurring as being a sign you should already know who this is.

The nice thing about the game is that until 58 fates are solved NOTHING is blocking your progress in any way. You could get from the first to the last corpse without solving a single fate and only start doing that after all scenes are uncovered.

Not saying that it's the optimal way because some stuff is very obvious but especially for the more obscure characters I find it helps to have the complete picture first.

Thanks for confirming this is the case. I have been getting steadily more frustrated/panicked as I progress through the chapters and have only solved maybe 30% of the characters the game has unblurred for me. The way the game is presented in 'chapter' format being led from event to event kind of makes it feel like you've lost your opportunity to get 100% once you reach the end of each chapter.

Basically it's nice to know you can safely move on if you're stumped and still come back at any point.

There is only one "point of no return" in the game, and that's when you leave the shp. You can and should solve all 58 of the available fates before leaving the ship, but up to that point there are no timers and no progress gates.

Well, depending on how you define the "point of no return". Even at 60 fates you can rewind back to the 58 fate state and continue analyzing scenes - just like with the "bad ending" below 58 fates.
