Official development and porting for this game stopped in late 2014 I believe, I don't think we'll ever see a switch port unfortunately. Hitbox Team are currently focusing on developing Spire... Probably. Haven't seen a progress report on it in at least 2 years as far as I know.

Dustmod is alive and well though.

That was back then, when the number of dev units was much more restricted and the eshop more heavily curated.

Judging from what nintendo is allowing on the switch now, there's a good chance the devs will have a good chance of succeeding if they try again.
