Multi-Jumping + Going Down Through Line Platforms
It has come to our attention that while these two things are very important (Not exactly necessary to complete the game thus far with the first 3 levels but still very helpful especially in the sewers currently) it is however not obvious to most people that they exist. Also, no-one else has started a discussion about it for some reason leading us to believe that those who do know about them found them obvious and those who don't haven't thought to ask here with a discussion post; so we'll put one up to hopefully help players who are having trouble at spots and don't know that these two things can be done. We may also add instructions concerning them when you see the key bindings instructions after pressing Start.

Firstly; you can go down through the line platforms by holding crouch and tapping jump. It doesn't always work perfectly for some reason however so just keep doing it if you don't actually go all the way through the first time. Knowing this makes traversing the levels much easier but especially in the sewers where it is a bit of a maze.

Secondly; You can press the jump button more than once. The jump function in our game uses a boost physics. (You do have rocket boots afterall.:steammocking:) What this means is that you won't be able to keep flying upwards indefinitely (due to gravity I suppose), but you can add some extra momentum while in the air to help you get higher or go farther. It takes some practice to actually master this function which will help players traverse the levels better than those who don't. This function is especially important in the sewers however as you will need to press the jump button more than once and learn how to control this boost function in order to "swim" upwards through the water to help you get out of it. This is even important in some more shallow water areas as pressing jump a second time at the right moment can help you pop up over a slightly too tall ledge.

We hope that this explanation will help you all get around easier!:steamhappy:

I'm not that good with programming, so this is only a suggestion. Won't it be easier to use something like a "double-down-tap" instead of both up and down for going down the line platforms?

Also, sometimes there's an "invisible block" in my path towards line platforms, where if I don't jump (and or change direction), I can't go further.
Happens at some points with small spaces to fall, too.

I asked the programmer and he said that either method of going down through line platforms would work fine. He said that he just chose to do it this way when he was deciding how to do it. We might put in the double down tap method as well so people have two options. Double down tap does make more sense.

As for the invisible blocks, they are something that he's aware of. It comes from the difficulties of placing the terrain colliders. It's not only near the line platforms but also randomly throughout the floors, walls, and even ceilings. He keeps trying to fix them but for some reason whenever we think it's fixed, it happens again. We'll keep working on it though!:steamhappy:
