Guardian's Relationship perks with Aegis/Archon

Being the first character without shields, I expected more systems would be built around complimenting this. However, items that give +shields do nothing for him, rather than boost health instead, or boost health defense. Shield beacons cannot target him. And his relationship level 1 & 3 perks remain the same as everyone else's for Aegis and Archon (+15 shields and +5 shield regen, respectively), despite the fact those do nothing for him.

I understand that building him requires a different mentality in regards to items, but so many other systems actively working against him seems to make this harder than it needs to be.

yea its pretty annoying. especially when all the armor pieces you find are sheild related armor so its useless on your tank
