I guess that's the direction gaming is going lately. But this game would have to be pretty heavily modified to accommodate coop play. single player is just the niche it's in for now.

Maybe, like, there is a pointless point system right now. Maybe devs are into simple mode that let you race a run with a friend in a same map.

They already done half of it. Imagine, just treat Abomination as 1 of your friend, then both have to race to the behemoth.
