Dear Quantum League community,

It's been over two years since we announced the discontinuation of the game's development. We now wish to inform you that the game's servers will be shut down on December 15th, 2023. Consequently, the game will no longer be playable after this date and it will also be removed from the Steam Store.

We have nothing but kind words to our amazing community that supported Quantum League since its early stages. We hope you have enjoyed playing the game as much as we did developing it.

We would like to thank the amazing community of Quantum League players for all of your support. From the very first days of open beta to the critical early access period and on through this spring’s full official game launch.

Thank you for all the streams, the tournaments, the feedback and for being such a welcoming and supportive community. This is certainly not always a given and we truly cherish that and you.

As you know, Quantum League is a game that we are all immensely proud of here at Nimble Giant. The goal has always been to create something unique and one of a kind, which we very much believe we managed to do, both in terms of the game and the community surrounding it. To see this original concept come to life over the past few years has been nothing but incredible

While the game may not have taken off to the top of the Steam charts, reading the passionate player feedback on Discord, witnessing the reactions of streamers and YouTubers when first experiencing the loop mechanic in real time, every single Very Positive review we have gotten, the community-organized tournaments and in-houses - all of it has been a wonderful treat for us that has filled our team with pride, and the list goes on.

As a thank you to our dedicated playerbase, we will be releasing a new reward track today for you to have fun with, put a discount on all skins available in the game, and bring back skins previously available only during events, such as Halloween, etc.



The sad part of this message is that due to given circumstances, we have decided not to continue adding content and updates to Quantum League. We have also made the decision to stop our efforts to port the game to consoles. This was a very hard decision to make. It took us a long time to look at the data, explore a lot of ideas and run different scenarios. In the end, it is the best decision for our studio at this time.

Despite that, we will continue to maintain the servers up and running for a long time so you can keep enjoying this amazing game that we created for you and by your side.

As a token of our appreciation for everyone that supported the game throughout this journey, we prepared a quark code that you can freely spend on all the discounted skins.

• Ability activates when opponents are below 60% HP.

• Desynced speed greatly increased.

Levka - Ghost Vision

• Increased the time you can see opponents after getting desynced.
  
• Increased the time you can see opponents while desync-firing.

• Fixed multiple instances of text that was not localised.

We know some of you strongly prefer Controllers over Keyboard+Mouse, either out of comfort or accessibility reasons.
For this purpose, we overhauled how the gamepad interacts in-game to give you a proper tool to play with:

• Gamepad input is now converted to a circular pattern to improve handling experience and consistency.
  
• Implemented circular deadzone with configurable inner and outer in options menu
  
• Implemented fully customizable extra turn acceleration with amount, delay, acceleration and active zone (angle) settings.

We also worked on additional QoL features and fixes to improve overall gamepad experience:

• Improved gamepad/keyboard change detection
  
• Added and improved keybinding callouts for Gamepad
  
• Improved the navigation experience for in-game Character Selection
  
• Added multiple setting sliders for personalizing your gamepad experience
  
• Reworked Quick Chat for gamepad

Abilities in all matches
As of today the Athlete passives will roll out to all Casual and Ranked games and are no longer exclusive to custom games!

They have been already adjusted based on your feedback, but we'll continue to monitor them, so keep the feedback coming!

Bjarne

• Fixed some cases where Bjarne’s ability wasn't resetting visibility after overtime.
  
• Removed clone info overhead from clones seen through walls with Bjarne’s ability.

Jackie

• Jackie’s increased speed now affects all movement.

Nordic - This map will be available upon launch both for 1v1 and 2v2 matches of Point Capture. It brings a cool snowy environment and has different levels to it created to incentivize strategic plays. 

ADS
Apart from the Rifle Scope, we added true ADS for the Blaster, SMG, Shotgun, and the Laser. Now, weapons transition between hip fire and ADS, allowing for a better and more complete first-person shooting experience!
Abilities
Each athlete has been equipped with an ability that gives them more personality and making each match more unique. Your playstyle, the arena and game mode, your teammate picks, everything has to be taken into account when choosing your athlete before a match!
That’s not all!
Now you can Buy Quark Bundles and get your favorite athlete outfits and weapon skins right away! There will be an amazing new reward track coming to the game upon launch and a bigger selection in the store so we got you a Quark Code as a part of the celebration and to get you started.
Type LAUNCH in the game menu to get 6000 Quarks.

Quantum League keeps getting better and better.
As of today just by playing the game you can earn Steam Trading Cards!

Gather and trade to get your favorite character, or become a collector and try to get them all. The cards are in your hands.

If you manage to get the entire set of cards you’ll not only get a sweet badge for your profile and level up, but you will also unlock emotes and time-traveltastic profile wallpapers.

There will be more updates coming to Quantum League very soon, so keep an eye out to prevent your clone from having to go back in time to catch them live!

We’re calling all Quantum Athletes, ‘cause it’s time to play with all-new abilities!

Each athlete has been equipped with a passive ability giving them more personality and making each match more unique. Your playstyle, the arena and game mode, your teammate picks, everything has to be taken in account when choosing your athlete before a match!

Abilities can be switched on only in Custom Match, we want to test the feature and receive feedback from the community before enabling them in casual and ranked matches so feel free to join our discord if you still haven’t.

Athlete Selection
Now that athletes have different abilities, we figured everyone should be able to pick their character according to Game Mode and arena!

You can now choose your character in-game, right before the match starts, and check which athlete your 2v2 teammate is choosing. Your default selected athlete will be the one you chose in the Athletes screen.

Tutorial

• We’ve made some changes to the tutorial for a faster and smoother experience.
  
• FPS training tutorial has been disabled.
  
• Added pop-up showing rewards for completing each step.
  
• Ranked overtime tutorial is now mandatory before playing a ranked match.
  

Fixes/Improvements

• Reduced laser warmup time.
  
• Melee attacks now won’t trigger barrels from behind obstacles.
  
• Ragdolls will now collide properly in Container Yard
  
• Healthpack VFX now won’t disable other visual effects while overlapping.
