Make sure to steal as much and as often as possible (with Shi Yan or Fatty Yue). Shi Yan requires money to recruit each time, and she leaves your party whenever she is severely hurt in battle. She might not leave if she gets one-shotted, though...

Hello do you know how and when i can recruit her? I am nearly on the end of the game (I think) but i still cant recruit her even after event with Son of Duke, and with blader and cauldron.

So I've done everything in the guide for recruiting characters but i'm stuck at Hangzhou city trying to talk to the constable who tells me the fragrance of the night thief is in Chengdu. But my missions don't update so I'm not sure what is wrong. Been stuck on this for a few days and any help would be most appreciated....

Anyone doing fan translation (ENG)? The current english translation is not so good.
