Up and down key not working

I have played the game, even to the point to get all the effects (I haven't triggered the ending yet though), but at some point, when I start the game, I can't move up, and even weirder is how I can't move down when I'm in the actual game(it looks like madotsuki is looking up, so I can't even leave the chair)
I have tried some of the solutions on the Yume Nikki keyboard fix thread, but it seems like I won't find solutions there for now.
Other things I have tried are opening the "RPG_RT" file instead of the icon, but it does nothing for me.
I have a GameCube controller connected too, so I tried disconnecting it, but it did nothing(I don't use it to play Yume Nikki).
It doesn't seem to be my keyboard either... Does someone know what could be happening or how to fix it?
