Alienware keeps turning on High Performance Mode
I recently bought a new Alienware laptop (m15 r7), and while I love how much better my games run on it, for some reason, whenever I boot up Yume Nikki, I get a notification from the Alienware Command Center app telling me that my computer is now entering "High Performance Mode", and all of the lights on my computer keys go dark and the internal fans starts spinning REALLY fast. The only way I even know how to turn it off is to go into the ACC and manually change the fans and key lights back to normal. IT'S ANNOYING. Even my more intensive 3D games I play don't go into this mode when I boot them up, it legit only does this with RPG Maker games, including Yume Nikki. YN is one of my favorite games ever and I hate not being able to play it without this annoying mode turning on whenever I boot up an RPG Maker game. Anyone know why it does this, how this even works, and how to make it NOT do this? Thanks!

EDIT #1 (4/30/22): Okay, I found something new just now. Pressing FN + F1 enables and disables high performance mode (or as the manual refers to it, "Full Speed Mode") whenever I please. That's helpful, but I still have to turn the keyboard lights back on with FN + F7. This also doesn't stop high performance mode from activating when I start the game, so I still haven't found the solution yet.

Tried this out, my keyboard lights came back on but the fan was still going really fast, I still had to turn the fan down manually in the Alienware Command Center for High Performance Mode to be disabled. sorry it didn't work :(

you can change how your alienware command center reacts when launching a game on steam in library. To maintain the same AlienFX lighting experience across all games and non-gaming tasks you can go to settings in alienware command center and switch to system from per game
