That's what you say, but you can say anything. There's been no official word from Kikiyama.
I am pretty sure as a Community Manager, cheru can't just "say anything".
I understand if you have been spurned one too many times, but it is best to reserve making any snap judgements or create any grand conspiracy theories until the story unfolds, if it will in any capacity.
Given Kikiyama's record, it is unlikely we will have any official word from them, so don't hold your breath. You may just have to take the studio's word for it, if you value Kikiyama's desire for privacy.
...inb4 "baited"
You're missing the point.
You could've told me the same of a God that you believe in, if there is one.
If I do't see it, I don't believe it.
I don't believe Kikiyama is involved in this because it's logicaly the easiest thing to believe.
For product placement people do and say stuff, and why'd anyone withold themself from saying stuff good for the product when they've got the copyright permitting them to say it.
FYI, I'm not in to this, I've just made a logical observation. A reddit post came up and, surprised by the ease with which people's opinions were swayed, I commented.
I don't particulary believe in the person here claiming that the ubochan one is not Kikiyama, and as for the ubochan individual, they
naturally have far less credibility to them.
I'm simply, without a given thought, unable not to notice the lack of credibility, how the entire in Kikiyama's (supposed) ivolvement stems from someone's word, and nothing else, in a world where for money people would say a lot of stuff, especially when it's not really going to cauae any harm whatsoever.

Yes, there has been SOME contact wIth Kikiyama(even still that's just a strong assumption).
I am just doubting Kikiyama's presence.. Well, entirely..
Thet have made a page for the game when having actively worked on it before.
As coy/withdrawn/recluse/demure or even aloof they might happen to be, we know that their approach WAS to make a(n entire) website for their project, which is damn far from communicating soley via a 2nd party.
All we have right now are words of a 2nd party.
You just don't know anything other than a single party involved.
heres a mind blow: what if kikiyama was involved but he's not very good anymore so its bad
IMO, that also is plausible.
They migt never have been good to begin with, evidently apparent by how the original game has never been finalised, but to get to the bottom of that.. Meh, a pointless ponder.
I just want you guys to be aware of the credibility stuff.
As regarding me, the only thing (I guess) that could make me believe in Kikiyama's very presence, would be for them to do something on their website.
I would LOVE it if Kikiyama actually is involved, in despite the fact that it would nullify some of the melancholic feelings I have for this game. Anyways, exactly because it's not something of small relevance for me, I prefer certainty.
But hey, this "issue" aside, I'll finish off by saying that I am genuinely excited about this game.
If it's done right, Yume Nikki, but in 3D, with the design of it all in game that I've thus far seen.. Oh my God, it gives me chills, how good it will possibly be.
