My favorite song is the FC House theme. I saw a comment on YouTube that perfectly illustrated how I feel about it, and it's something quite melancholic for me, it actually goes deeper than anything that can be described as nostalgia despite it's FC nature.
Quote: ''I always felt this song was really sad in the context of the game. Not overtly grim and melancholy like most of the other tracks, but in a more subtle way - like finding a picture of a happy family in the ruins a burnt-down house.'' Joe Wong on YouTube.

Another one is the Barracks Settlement (aka Refugee Camp). In a game with pretty dark tracks, this one takes the cake. It sounds utterly desolate and hopeless and is pretty much the most depressing track in the entire game.

Then there's Checkered Tile Path. It's both melancholic and mystical, but also has a somewhat uplifting feel. It's certainly one of the tracks I associate with Yume Nikki the most.
