Combining the Kings Crest and Royal Seal Necklace

I have figured out how to combine them but i dont have the Royal Seal Necklace.Smithers doesnt have it too.I dont know if i droped it or never had it at all.Can someone please help me.I read that not having them to combine isnt a game breaker but how do i get through the door tothe Great hall of Samhain???

You do need the necklace to get through that door. And you shouldn't be able to drop critical items, unless you disabled that in the configuration. Smithers has the necklace ot begin with.

I'm not sure which parts you have, but did you give Smithres the Letter of the Marque? When you do that he should give you the necklace. Then you can combine it with the King's Crest.

I have been trying to find the Letter of Marque for 2 days .I have posted i cant find it,but noone wants to tell me where it is.Somehow i have missed it.I have gone back to the start and ran all the way to now but cant find it.Please tell me where it is.

It's been a while since I played that part, but don't you get it after you watch the slideshow/video thing of the dwarf in the end of the Ukluk mines? I could be wrong though, but that is my best guess.

Havent seen any slideshow/video.I have been all through the mines at least 3 times .I see by the guides that you can get accross the open area but i cant figure out how to use the chanes hanging from the celling.Its the only area that i havent done in the mines.

did you find the harness? you can cross a small chasm with it.

Look around more. You need something to help you swing across.
