Also, some good races have high multiplier bonuses for Metalsmith, meaning you get more skill points on each level up and more points in the beginning when you roll the character, as well as more resistance points:

The metallrgy/forging works now and lets you increase the AC of armor pieces. However this bonus goes away when that armor is hit numerous times in fights, so that you need to do it again and again. Overall, forging is not really necessary.
But the Metalsmith can use other weapons as well, so it doesn't have to be a Hammer.

Moon Singer is from one of the perk chests. That's arguably the best thing you can get from the perk chests, it rivals the caliburnus, and doesn't have its restrictions, so a pirate or assassin, or jester can use it.
And if there are indeed "many" inaccuracies in the wiki, then simply list them and they will corrected.
