Stuck Outside of St. George's Tomb

I am looking for some hints on how to open the gate that is in the back of St. George's Tomb? I have heard there is something I need to get inside of the Lich's dungeon, but I have scoured that place and all te maps are at 100% and I still have not found any key?

Is there something I should be looking for other than a key? Any help would be appreciated.

I got stuck on this one too because I didn't know you could "look" at an item, didn't know you could extract info effectively from NPC's and failed to search for secrets. I'm trying not to make that mistake going forward :)
