*Wrote wrong number.
great way to ruin the game for yourself.
Then, the choice is between put the points in hitpoint/Attributes/Skills/Destiny. I am hesitating between Attributes & Skills. But if it is like in W7, the best is go to Skills between in W7 when we change class, the attributes come back to the initial values. So what do you advice me ?
5d6 has a 5-30 spread. 4d8 has a 4-32 spread. However, the most dice you roll, the more concentrated the outcomes are towards the center and away from the extremes.
For example. If you roll a 1d10, every number has an even chance of coming up, being 1 in 10. But if you roll 2d5, then not every result has the same odds. Only one combination(5 and 5) would result in 10 while different combinations(3 and 2, 1 and 4, etc) result in 5.
So as to which is better, certainly 4d8 as it has a higher maximum value and a better chance of rolling the high numbers. The downside to 4d8 is more likely to roll lower numbers too, but you can always reroll anyway despite the game's attempts to mitigate you doing so.

5d6 average 3.5x5 = 17.5
