ZOE3 possibly?

I know this game has been remastered in past as well for ps3 now for ps4 its one of the best Hideo Kojima creactions so Im wondering if they plan to make a 3rd eventualy I remember some leaked pictures bu now with hideo gone Im afraid it will turn in to another MGS survive

It would probably be something horrible like Metal Gear Survive, but maybe Hideo will do a spiritual successor to ZoE at some point.

But I'd still like to jump into Jehuty's "cockpit" again, because that never gets old.

I think zoe 3 Got canceled with hideo leaving. Altho I didnt dig the premise to much but still if it would retain the gameplay....

Well, Remember that Hideo Kojima only Produced the ZOE games, both had entirely different writers and directors and lead game designers. How much direct influence he had, I dont know, considering he was directing MGS games when these were being developed. It's not impossible they could make a ZOE3 and it not suck, but I doubt Konami would even be interested in trying, which is a real shame, as I adore the ZOE series.

There's no real indication that Kojima played a major role in any aspect of what made the Zone of the Enders games good, but either way, if Konami wanted to make a solid sequel in this underperforming series for some reason, internal talent wouldn't even be necessary.
They could just hand development to another company, like they did with Gradius V.

I think FromSoftware wouldn't have too much trouble outdoing ZOE2.
They certainly have experience with comparable gameplay, and I already think Another Century's Episode 2 and 3 are better games, though they're way more about projectiles than ZOE tends to be.

I thought ZOE 3 was cancelled due to the failure of those 30 FPS porst on PS3 and Xbox 360 and MGS V Phantom Pain which eat up a lot of their budget.

We know that Silent Hill got cancelled because of Kojima spending a lot of money on useless stuff. For ZOE3 I don't know, but there are a lot of good producers out there than can do a better job than what kojima do. If you don't believe me check the story of "A way out" , in one game you get more feels than in the entire MGS series.

Have you play Silent Hill games ? all of the team silent ones have better writing than MGS games.(Just inferior in gameplay)

zoe3 was canceled for dumb reasons they ended it because of thier mistakes with the hd remakes something to do with transitions from 30fps to 60fps as well as sales after everything was all said and done... hate when devs are like oh well we didnt get many double dippers guess they dont want a sequel then....

and if its based off sales then even though im sure this one is good im sure it wont sell to great either post ♥♥♥♥ konami and all that so dont expect a zoe3... i plan on buying this because i never bought the hd remakes and sold my original ones from ps2 (thinking that the sequel was coming back in the day) and because it supports real 4k supposedly.

mg survive was very fun to play and a masterpiece in survival, its not bad as everyone says. Only fanboys from mg series saying this

You do know that develloping a game cost money right ? So if a game sell badly of course they are not motivated to make a sequel.

In general that's a fair enough point, but not in this situation where they are judging based on the sales of their totally botched, low-effort HD Collection consisting of only two games, and coming hot on the heels of their previous Silent Hill HD Collection which was also completely terrible and low-effort and everyone hated.
Plus I'm sure Kojima wasting money hiring another company to totally redo ZOE2's port from the ground up properly probably pissed Konami off, and may have played a role in ZOE3 being canceled.
