Can you co-op the whole game with a friend?

And if so is it easy and straight forward and how many friends can join?

Also is this a big game like Dark souls games or is it short?

so CO-OP works in a simple yet strange way. once you are out of the tutorial world you can go into your menu and set a multiplayer passcode. if you and your friend both have the pass code your worlds will sync up. the only issue with this is you wont be able to easily tell since your CO-op partner will look like an NPC character from the town. meaning you guys have to sync up and approach the NPC ally and test out if you are connected. (you will both look like NPC characters to one another but will maintain your own appearance on your screen)

once you are playing together you can play the whole game together and bosses will get defeated at the same time meaning no back and forthing like dark souls.

now for length... the game is short but not super short. it a bit replayable and has a semi build system to it. the full 100% experience ontop the DLC took me more than 20 hours. and thats only 1 playthrough.

yeah, but it's super ♥♥♥♥♥. You get disconnected if someone goes into town, or each time someone dies. It's possible in theory to play the whole game, but not really

yeah there are some weird rules. in general if you stick relatively close to one another and have a stable connection at all times then you should be fine. now for the disconnecting in town thing im unsure about since wouldnt you just reconnect when getting close to your friend again?

Trying to play this with my friend in another region has been a nightmare. Sort of worked for a few hours the first time we played and we have not been able to play together since.

the game janks itself up if you arent on the same stage of progression. meaning dont go further than eachother. not to mention you cant meet up at town its a single player hub. find a place outside of town to meet up with a code active at all times. it SHOULD work fine. if one of you has bad internet that is whats messing it up (it requires stable connection)
