Multiplayer not working 2021

Wanted to play with a friend. Tried same multiplayer filter, disabling companion went to location further from spawn but for some reason I can't see any player in this game.

you both have to be away from the tutorial area. leave the hub town and head towards the wilderness. you and your co-op partner will look like NPC's to eachother find one another and do a jump test thats how you will know its working properly.

we even went into the first bost dungeon but still couldn't see each other

Same problem here... im playing on windows store and a friend on steam - not possible to find each other :/

It is working for me and a friend. Try setting a different filter (don't use default "000000") and walking around a same specific area (like around a specific tree or archstone or stairs). It might take a while to connect. It can connect you in any zone except the city hub, Vagrant's Rest, so you could try to progress and activate some checkpoints/ritual stones and walk around them.

thanks might try that, we used filter 111421 and tried to walk around the stone near the first dungeon or the lake where you arive at the start and nothing, I wonder if it might be because of port forwarding, which I cannot do
