Can you CRAFT and build stuff?

Hi Dudes,
Ashen video looks good. But not sure what the game is about.

Can you craft and build stuff? Like a base?
And if the game ends can you keep playing from where you left of?

The game seems to mainly be taking queues from Zelda and Souls mainly. The developers haven't mentioned anything to do with base building, so I think that's off the cards. Weapon crafting might be a thing, pretty basic stuff in modern RPGs.

I think crafting will be different, then the long drawn out systems of typical RPGs. I was into Absolver Beta, there was a move crafting system, to customize your move set. Maybe they'll have something like that, based on style and weapon? I don't expect a building or crafting system to be honest, as it'll be easier to balance for PVP and other PVE elements.
