Fishing...help!

Any tips on fishing? I can't even throw the fishing pole properly...can never click at the right time to get it to be green and suceed. Also interested in advice for once I get that step mastered. As a veteran of many games with fishing tasks, I think most of them are too difficult to figure out or get started on.

Hi! Hm, its not supposed to be that hard - is it too fast for you or what is happening?

The white bar is moving side to side very quickly and the green zone is very narrow. Only an instant to click, but I feel like I can handle that. I think I am clicking while the bar is in the green zone but it still says that my throw failed.

We reduced the speed and increased the yellow area a little for the next patch to make it a bit easier

I've just bought your game and I can tell you now...I wont be playing it much because there is NO CHANCE I can do the fishing...I am in my mid 70s and cannot click fast enough ...why do developers have to make a mini game out of fishing...and so mess up all the game, it's so unfair to us older players.had I known the fishing would be like this I would never have bought the game.....at least in Stardew Valley we could get a mod for easier fishing. NOT IMPRESSED.

San, check out Farm Together if you haven't see that yet. Another great farming game. No storyline, but they have some fun challenges and nothing requires super fast clicking or fighting skills. I requested a refund for Harvest Life. I applaud the new PS4 Marvel Spider Man game for having a wide range of accessibility settings. You can select the option to press and hold a button instead of having to press it really quickly for a large number of times. My husband, who has excellent digital reflexes and combat skills, turned that on because he hates having to hit the same button over and over again. There are also options for things like skipping puzzles or time-sensitive tasks, so you can enjoy the game and the story no matter what you are good at.

I've been playing farm together for ages now and it's a great little game, it really does annoy me when devs make silly mini games really hard for catching stuff, I'm playing Verdant Skies at the moment and that's a farming game in space, it's really good, the fishing couldn't be easier just aim a spear and let go...my kind of fishing.
