New Ball Tests, is the rule right in the game?
So I just did a whole 5 day test match. It was pretty epic and fun as I won by 57 on day 5 with a run out where my opponet was diving and across the line but not grounded, amazing!

I know the law for getting a new ball is after 80 overs you can take it.

My query though is in the game it doesn't let you take it after 80 overs total, but after 80 overs in your fielding innings. So I had to bowl with a ball from my batting innings then another 80 overs in my bowling innings before I could take the new ball (126.3 overs with this ball!). Rather than at 80 overs total in the first day.

Is this how it works? Perhaps I'm wrong on the overall rule or is it glitched? You might have to use the same ball for 79.5 + 80 overs before you could get a new ball? Doesn't seem right.

Anyhow, love the game! Just want it as realistic as possible!

When bowling you shoul;d begin each innings with a new ball and then be able to change that ball after every 80 overs....that is the rule.......If I remember correctly it worls correctly in my game! Was it a custom test or an out of the boz test setup?

Out of box test. Maybe there was a new ball at the beginning of the innings, but it barely looked red still. So I'm not sure. Perhaps graphics glitched.

How do you accept the new ball?

AFter 80 overs, you have to press up or down on the D-pad to bring up that menu and new ball will be on there.
