High attack value + melee master

Its bugged and quite annoying. I have been farming adventure stats, got like 80 attack, maxed out the melee master. When i encounter gladiators with 30-40 defence the hitchance is always the same -25% for power attack, 50% for normal attack, 75% for quick one, 60% on mighty smash, 30% on barbarian storm. the only values that are actually varying are leap of lions and charge. Any workaround or just another glitch?
