How to save the game?

I can't seem to find any option to save my character. I'm level 23 now, and not in the mood to play anymore but I don't want to lose my progress. Help please?

Hey Goody! Your character should auto-save after every fight and every time you go to sleep in a tavern , level up and so on. There should be no danger of losing your heroic warrior!
