I've bought this game and when i tried to open it it said "ADOBE AIR" "This application has an invalid application descriptor. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance." I'm using an macbook air with Macos sonoma 14.0

I've been trying to play this since I was a kid and always die never getting past the first champion, is that the actual point to the game or am I missing something? tried the flash game out just now with same result as always the AI seems one step ahead every time. I've played the hacked version so kind of know rest of the story.. I just want to know if this is a different game or the same game?...
