Also thought it was a bit ironic that this is a music visualizer since it's far from music friendly =)
Then I listened to one of my favorite Seven Lions EPs and had a blast. I particularly loved Shatter and pretty much ran that for the whole thing. Then, feeling inspired, I went and started reading about how to render symmetrical geometries in Unity while it downloaded and realized I have a LOT of reading to do. Kudos for such an amazing and inspiring work of art. Bravo.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Oh, one thing that might help- if you run in "Expert" instead of "Intense", you'll be seeing a monoscopic image. It loses depth, but for that reason it's probably a lot easier on people who are prone to migraines, and even without the depth it's still a cool experience (if I do say so myself :) )
Anyway, I just want to apologize for causing you to suffer a migraine. I'm really glad you were able to enjoy it anyway, but a migraine is a pretty heavy price to pay for it :(
I did run into a few little things I thought i would bring up:
If you're not looking directly at the menu it closes when you use the controller to select something.
I keep re-centering my view, I would think the zero/center point / end of the tunnel would be static, but maybe that's just me.
Again though: I absolutely love this, and if you want a tester or something let me know. I'm happy to support
And thanks for the feedback! So one thing I think I'm gravitating toward is having a checkbox that's like "have the center of the tunnel always be in the same place"
That's a lot of words to fit on one button, so it might need a little wordsmithing :)
anyway, there is a tradeoff which is that you will get less variety and it might start to feel repetitive. I think that rather than making that choice for you I should just make a button that lets you make that choice yourself!
