In the singleplayer you get the information that you can creat your room or do it with the app.... there is not an information like that in the mp :S
You can play the game with friends if you stream it online to a platform such as Twitch or YouTube. It's simple to set-up a stream using OBS and there are several guides online such as this one:
https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/game/how-stream-on-twitch-3663318/
Once you're streaming, all you have to do is send your friends the link and they can join in by downloading the free app - no copy of the game required!
The game has several customisation options to allow you to choose the best rounds to play remotely.
Hope this helps!
Beside of this we have crap internet in our village so a stream would lag like withcer 3 on a C64 :S
Game was refunded, because of the missing normal multiplayer and the bad computergenerated german voice.
Might give you chance some day if this weaknesses of the game will be fixed.
Greetings
The game is primarily designed to work with a smartphone or tablet, however the single player mode (Solo Score Attack) can be played with a controller or keyboard/mouse set-up.
Alternatively, the companion app can be played through an Android Emulator running on your PC (http://www.androidcrush.com/best-android-emulator-for-pc-windows/).
Hope this helps!
Frankly, running something mutliplayer on a PC which requires you to download an app or some android emulator to actually play it is...beyond bizarre. Why are you making this more difficult for people to play than it needs to be? I have a friend who wants to play with me right now but he can't because he doesn't have a smartphone. We both have PCs. With Steam on them. That should be enough.
I love quiz games and there is a lack of good ones on Steam. Just add a proper multiplayer, both local and over Steam. I don't understand why you're making such a dog's dinner out of this.
