Why "428" ??
Alright I finished the game yesterday (both "Normal" and "True" Endings) and I still don't understand what the "428" in the title refers to ? Did I miss something ?

4 = Shi
2 = fu (when voiced, becomes bu)
8 = ya
It's just wordplay for Shibuya.

The whole story all happened on April 28th,as can be seen on Maria’s phone when Canaan called her in the true ending of the epilogue.

Finished the game three days ago.I truly enjoyed and noticed both mentioned explainations. I remember thinking it was very clever. Word and mind games. =)

I feel like there was a specific point of text in game explaining this word play.

Doesn't Kano at some point in the game mention that 428 is the Japanese police code for kidnapping?

iirc 225 or something like that.

However there are definitely other tips that explain "428" wordplays in the game and I think one of them casually writes something like "by the way, shibuya is a wordplay too" in brackets.
